Alessi — Itsumo NF08/2 | Yunoki porcelain soup plate

There is something suspended in the white of this soup plate - a quietness that precedes the gesture, the silence before the table comes to life. The porcelain is pure white and smooth, with a diameter of twenty centimetres that invites without dominating. On this essential surface, Samiro Yunoki's decoration settles like a breath: graphic marks with an archaic yet contemporary character, creatures and forms belonging to the imagery of Japanese tradition and yet speaking a universal language, capable of crossing cultures and latitudes. The project bears the signature of Naoto Fukasawa, one of the undisputed masters of contemporary international design, known for his ability to subtract without impoverishing, and to find an almost meditative dimension in everyday objects. His collaboration with textile artist and illustrator Samiro Yunoki - a legendary figure in Japan's creative world - creates a rare dialogue between industrial form and artisanal mark, between manufacturing precision and the expressive freedom of illustration. The name *Itsumo*, which means "always", "as always" in Japanese, suggests the piece's vocation: to be present every day without ever becoming tiring. We at Stilmobili chose *Itsumo* because it embodies one of the deepest convictions guiding our selection: that the table is a place of culture, not merely nourishment. This plate is for those who love to entertain with intelligence, who consider table setting a conscious aesthetic act, and who recognize Japanese design as a philosophy before it is a style. Project notes: white porcelain, diameter 20 cm, height 4.5 cm. Samiro Yunoki decoration. Designed by Naoto Fukasawa for Alessi. Spring/summer collection.
