Alessi — Itsumo NF07/89 | White porcelain mug by Fukasawa

There is a particular quietness in certain objects capable of disappearing in the hands, leaving room only for the gesture. The Itsumo mug is exactly this: white porcelain in its most essential form, a volume that responds to the warmth of the drink with the same naturalness with which a cup has always welcomed hands around it. Thirty centiliters of capacity — neither too much nor too little — contained in a silhouette that seems to have no history, yet has a profoundly deep one. Itsumo, which means «always» in Japanese, bears the signature of Naoto Fukasawa, one of the most respected designers on the international design scene. Born in Yamanashi in 1956, Fukasawa has made the concept of «without thought» — design that emerges from the quiet observation of human behavior — his stylistic hallmark. With Alessi, he has built a lasting dialogue of clean geometries and discreet intelligence, in which formal rigor never excludes warmth. Itsumo embodies this philosophy: an object designed to last over time without growing old, faithful every morning like a familiar presence. At Stilmobili, we chose Itsumo because we believe authentic design should not have to shout to be recognized. This mug is for those who love to create their table setting with consistency and intention, and who see breakfast or an afternoon break as a moment of self-care. It is ideal as a single piece to pair with a minimalist table setting, or as a thoughtful gift for anyone who appreciates design without ostentation. Project notes: white porcelain, capacity 30 cl, dimensions 10 × 8 × 9 cm. Designed by Naoto Fukasawa for Alessi. Permanent collection, spring/summer program.
