Alessi — Itsumo NF07/38 NF07/38 25 | White porcelain salad bowl

There is a precise sense of calm in Itsumo’s form. The white porcelain salad bowl has a profile that seems shaped by habit itself — by the repeated gesture of setting the table, serving, and sharing. The white is absolute, free of decoration, yet never neutral: the surface captures the light on the table and reflects it with a soft, almost homely glow. With a diameter of 25 centimetres and a capacity of 345 cl, it is designed to stand at the centre — of the table, the meal, and the conversation. Itsumo is a design by Naoto Fukasawa, one of the most influential Japanese designers on the contemporary scene, known for a design practice that makes reduction its primary language. For Fukasawa, the ideal form is one that disappears in use, becoming an unconscious part of everyday life. The name itself — *itsumo*, “always” in Japanese — reveals the intention: an object that does not surprise, but becomes indispensable. Part of the Alessi collection, this piece embodies the fruitful meeting of Italian craftsmanship and the Eastern sensitivity for essentials. At Stilmobili, we chose Itsumo because it perfectly represents what we look for in tableware: a discreet presence that elevates without making a statement. It is the right piece for those who set a table with intention, for those who know that the beauty of a summer lunch begins with choosing what will hold the salad. Ideal for contemporary, minimalist, or Nordic interiors, yet able to complement any setting where good taste does not need to be shouted. Design notes: white porcelain, diameter 25 cm, height 11 cm, capacity 345 cl. Net weight 1.84 kg. Alessi spring/summer collection. Designer Naoto Fukasawa.
