Alessi — Holly PLA01SET3 | Blown glass Christmas decorations

There is something ancient and precious about hand-blown glass, in its surface that holds light as if it were alive. Holly is a set of two Christmas decorations belonging to the most authentic tradition of European Christmas ornaments: soft, almost organic shapes, coated with paint applied by hand to each individual piece. No two pieces are identical, and it is precisely in this slight handcrafted imperfection that their subtler value lies. Holly was born from the collaboration between Alessi and PlayLab, a creative studio known for its playful yet rigorous approach to the language of objects. The project is part of the Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection, a seasonal series in which the Crusinallo brand explores the boundary between industrial design and craftsmanship. Holly is the result of this tension: a household object that carries the warmth of centuries-old craftsmanship, translated into a contemporary and recognizable aesthetic. At Stilmobili, we chose Holly because it embodies exactly the quality we seek in every piece in our selection: the ability to transform an everyday gesture - hanging a decoration on the tree - into a moment of care and style. It is the ideal gift for those who love receiving thoughtfully designed objects, for those who arrange their homes with the same attention they devote to their wardrobe, and for those who want Christmas to speak the language of good design.
