Alessi — Hmm MW64 3 F | Mahogany wood diffuser leaves

There is something deeply organic about bringing fragrance into the home through the living material of wood. Alessi's Hmm leaves - made of mahogany with the artisanal care that distinguishes every object from the Italian factory - are designed to diffuse fragrance through capillary action, allowing the wood to absorb and slowly release the essence into the air. The form evokes nature with a synthesis that is already a design language: not decoration, but a quiet presence on a table, shelf, or beside an open book. Hmm was born from the mind of Marcel Wanders, one of the most visionary and recognizable Dutch designers on the international scene. Through his approach, which intertwines romanticism, irony, and formal rigor, Wanders created an olfactory system for Alessi in which design does not stop at the container but becomes the fragrance experience itself. Every detail - from the silhouette of the leaves to the choice of mahogany - reflects the ongoing tension between emotion and function that runs through the designer's entire body of work. At Stilmobili, we chose Hmm because it perfectly represents the kind of object we love: one that does not immediately attract attention, but subtly and enduringly transforms the atmosphere of a room. It is the ideal gift for someone who already has everything, or the finishing touch for a thoughtfully designed interior. It pairs naturally with the diffusers from the same collection, but also stands beautifully on its own as a small botanical sculpture in mahogany. Design notes: leaves for a natural mahogany wood diffuser, 22 cm high, with a net weight of 83 g. Part of the Hmm line by Marcel Wanders for Alessi, spring/summer collection.
