Alessi — Happy Eternity | Porcelain Nativity Set

Alessi Happy Eternity - The Nativity Scene as a Work of Art to Live With

There is a moment during the holidays when the home stops being a backdrop and becomes a stage. Alessi's Happy Eternity Nativity scene was created precisely for this: five hand-decorated white porcelain figures that transform the ancient ritual of setting up the Nativity scene into an act of conscious taste. Jesus, Joseph, Mary, the ox, and the donkey, reinterpreted with a visual lightness that is both intimate and contemporary.

Why we chose it for you

This Nativity scene is the result of an unprecedented collaboration between Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori, two artists whom Alessi - a research laboratory in the applied arts since 1921 - brought together for the first time in a joint project. Jori, who had already explored Christmas with his Nativity Baubles, and Giacon bring a shared vision to this piece: tradition is not preserved unchanged; it is reinterpreted. The result is an object that belongs to the present while acknowledging its roots.
