Grow Watch was created through a collaboration between Alessi and Andrea Morgante of Shiro Studio, the London design studio founded by Morgante himself, who was previously a student and collaborator of Ron Arad. The project belongs to the line of research that Alessi has devoted to unconventional materials in consumer watchmaking, exploring polyurethane not as an economical compromise but as a precise aesthetic choice: a material that breathes, absorbs light with an opaque, velvety quality, and bears the marks of time with a certain grace. We chose it for those who look at their wrist not to tell the time, but to find an identity. Grow Watch is ideal for those who collect design objects with the same care they use when choosing a garment or a book - and who do not seek ostentatious luxury, but a precise, almost whispered kind.
