Alessi — Gnam ASG22 B | Black resin bread box

There is something profoundly domestic about the gesture of placing bread on the table. Gnam welcomes it with a form that evokes market crates, those that smell of flour and morning - but reinterpreted in a contemporary key, in glossy black thermoplastic resin that transforms an everyday object into a piece with character. The generous dimensions (46 × 30 × 16.5 cm) speak of carefully set tables, whole loaves to share, and a food ritual that deserves to be celebrated even in the objects that inhabit it. Gnam was created through a collaboration between Stefano Giovannoni and Elisa Gargan, a creative duo able to move effortlessly between irony and formal rigor. The project is part of the **A di Alessi** collection, one of the most representative catalogs of the Fabbrica di Oggetti, in which everyday function becomes a pretext for a broader visual narrative. The choice of black - unusual for a bread container, traditionally associated with warm, natural materials - is precisely the gentle provocation that makes the piece memorable. At Stilmobili, we chose Gnam because it perfectly embodies the tension between domesticity and design that we seek in the pieces we offer. It is ideal for those who love a kitchen or dining room with personality, where every element is chosen with intention and even a bread container becomes an opportunity for style. It pairs naturally with dark wood, light marble, or steel tables. Project notes: thermoplastic resin, black finish. Dimensions 46 × 30 × 16.5 cm. A di Alessi collection, fall/winter program. Code ASG22 B.
