Alessi — Glass Family AJM29/2 | Jasper Mor crystal glass

There is an almost disarming purity to the AJM29/2 wine glass from the Glass Family: no ornament, no concessions to the rhetoric of form. Just crystal-clear glass that captures the light, holds it for an instant, and returns it to the table with the same discretion with which a well-mannered guest occupies the space around them. Its 20 cl capacity translates into exact proportions, neither generous nor stingy, designed to accompany without overwhelming. The Glass Family was born from the mind of Jasper Morrison, one of the most influential British designers of his generation and a radical interpreter of the philosophy he himself defined as "super-normal": objects that seem always to have existed, so necessary and well calibrated that they remain invisible until you realize you cannot do without them. Morrison brings to Alessi the same clarity with which he has redesigned everyday life for Vitra, Flos, and Muji: a consistency of vision that crosses materials and scales without ever betraying itself. The collection is part of the "A di Alessi" project, the line that brings together tableware and home objects designed for everyday life without compromising on design quality. We chose this wine glass because it perfectly represents what we mean when we talk about authentic design: the absence of apparent effort concealing deep thought. It is the glass for those who have already understood that elegance does not need to announce itself. Ideal for a contemporary table, it works equally well in an informal setting: its neutrality is its strength. Project notes: mouth-blown crystal glass, height 13.2 cm, capacity 20 cl.
