Alessi — GJ02 17 | Cubetta, blown glass Christmas decoration

There is something ancient and precious about blown glass, in its ability to hold light and return it transformed. Alessi's La Cubetta is a Christmas decoration that belongs to that centuries-old artisanal tradition, interpreted, however, through contemporary eyes and with the ironic lightness that has always distinguished the Crusinallo manufacture. Each piece is hand-decorated, which means that no Cubetta is identical to another: each carries the discreet mark of the person who made it, a small imperfection that is actually proof of its authenticity. Behind this ornament are the creative minds of Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori, a creative duo that has developed a distinctive visual language suspended between comics, pop art, and designer culture.
