Alessi — Giuseppe | Blown Glass Christmas Bauble

Alessi "Giuseppe" — A Christmas Bauble That Tells a Story

There is something deeply artisanal about the breath that gives glass its shape: an ancient, unrepeatable gesture that transforms material into emotion. Alessi's "Giuseppe" bauble brings this magic to the tree, with its hand-decorated surface and colors that capture the light as only mouth-blown glass can. Every year, when it is hung, it brings with it that rare feeling: that Christmas can still surprise you.

Why we chose it for you

Alessi is not just a brand: it is a research laboratory in the applied arts, founded in 1921 on the shores of Lake Orta in Piedmont. For more than a century, it has collaborated with the biggest names in international design to bring objects into homes that balance function, beauty, and storytelling. "Giuseppe" is the result of this same approach: a collectible bauble designed by LPWK and Marcello Jori, two creators with an ironic and poetic perspective on tradition. Not just a decoration, but a piece worth preserving year after year.
