Alessi — Gianni AMDR08 W | "little man" white airtight jar

There is something disarming about the simplicity with which Gianni makes room for himself on a shelf or kitchen countertop. A stylized little man clutching his lid tightly — or perhaps the lid is clutching him — in a grip that conveys both function and character. The airtight transparent glass jar lets you glimpse its contents, while the white thermoplastic resin lid takes on a human form: open arms, a round head, a quiet and friendly presence that transforms an everyday gesture like opening a jar into a small moment of domestic cheer. Gianni was created through a collaboration between the Alessi Study Center and Mattia Di Rosa, as part of the *A di Alessi* collection — the design line that for years has explored the subtle boundary between an everyday object and an object of affection, between utensil and story. The line moves through the realm of gentle irony, which Alessi has made a recognizable stylistic hallmark on the Italian and international design scene. Each piece in the collection carries a narrative, a character, a small but complete story. We at Stilmobili chose it because it is exactly the kind of object you do not expect to love so much. Perfect for those who furnish a kitchen with personality, those looking for an original gift far removed from the rhetoric of ostentatious luxury, or simply those who believe that design should also make you smile. Gianni naturally finds its place among spices, coffee, and biscuits — anywhere you want to add a little character. Project notes: capacity 200 cl, diameter 10.5 cm, height 30.5 cm. Glass body, white thermoplastic resin lid. A di Alessi collection, autumn/winter lineup.
