Alessi — Gianni AMDR08 AZ | Glass and blue resin airtight jar

There is something tender and ironic about Gianni, the little man who holds the lid of this airtight jar tightly, as if guarding a precious secret. The stylized human figure in sky-blue thermoplastic resin becomes one with the function: the act of holding steady, of embracing, transforms a simple glass kitchen container into an object capable of evoking emotions and making anyone who encounters it on a kitchen or pantry shelf smile. Gianni was created by Mattia Di Rosa for the Alessi Study Centre as part of the **A di Alessi** collection - the project through which the Crusinallo Dream Factory has explored the subtle boundary between industrial design and visual storytelling for years. The collection takes everyday design into unexpected territory, where a functional object becomes a character, a small inhabitant of the home, a cherished memory. "A di Alessi" is a design language that places imagination at its center, and Gianni is one of its most successful protagonists: easy to explain, impossible to ignore. At Stilmobili, we chose it because it perfectly embodies the design lightness that distinguishes great design from furniture that exists solely for its own sake. It is the perfect gift for those who love the kitchen without taking themselves too seriously, and for anyone looking for a detail capable of changing the tone of a room. Ideal as a housewarming gift, with that rare ability to be useful, beautiful, and full of character at the same time. Project notes: airtight transparent glass jar with a light blue thermoplastic resin lid, height 30.5 cm, diameter 10.5 cm, capacity 200 cl. Alessi's A Collection, spring/summer program.
