Alessi — Gianni AMDR06 AMDR06 AZ | Airtight jar in glass and blue resin

There is something tender and irreverent about Gianni, the little man who grips the lid with all his strength. The airtight transparent glass jar thus becomes much more than a simple container: it is an object that tells a story, inhabiting the kitchen counter with the same discretion as a character from an illustrated book who happened to end up there by chance. The sky-blue thermoplastic resin lid brings an anthropomorphic figurine to the surface, embracing the rim with a determined gesture, almost as if jealously guarding what lies inside. Gianni was born from a collaboration between the Alessi Study Centre and Mattia Di Rosa, an illustrator and visual artist whose poetics revolve around a universe of simplified human figures, suspended between comics and pop sculpture. The project is part of the *A di Alessi* collection, the brand's permanent laboratory dedicated to blending functional design with contemporary artistic language, where every piece is also a cultural manifesto. The spring/summer seasonal theme amplifies the light and vibrantly colorful atmosphere of this object. At Stilmobili, we chose Gianni because he breaks down every hierarchy between useful and beautiful, between kitchen and gallery. It is the perfect gift for those who collect objects with a soul, for anyone who wants to bring a smile to a shelf or kitchen corner without giving up functionality. With a capacity of 140 cl, it is suitable for storing pasta, legumes, spices, or biscuits — everything that deserves to be looked after by someone who truly cares. Project notes: height 20.5 cm, diameter 10.5 cm. Glass body, blue thermoplastic resin lid with an integrated figurine. Capacity 140 cl. Airtight closure. A di Alessi collection, designed by CSA — Mattia Di Rosa.
