Alessi — Gianni AMDR04 B | Airtight jar with resin man

There is something moving and, at the same time, ironic about the gesture of this little man clinging to the lid with all the strength he has. *Gianni* is an airtight glass jar - transparent, honest, everyday - topped by a figure in black thermoplastic resin that grips its support as if the world depended on that gesture. The glass preserves; the figure watches over it. The result is a kitchen object that already, rightfully, belongs to the realm of affectionate things. The project was born from a collaboration between the Alessi Study Centre (CSA) and Mattia Di Rosa, a designer who moves naturally between illustration, visual storytelling, and three-dimensional objects. *Gianni* is part of the **A di Alessi** collection, the creative laboratory where the factory encourages new languages and personal visions, often at the intersection of product design and poetic storytelling. The character - anonymous in name, universal in posture - thus becomes a small archetype: the ordinary man who resists, who holds on. At Stilmobili, we chose *Gianni* because it embodies precisely what we seek in the objects we select: the ability to transform the mundane act of storing something into something worth looking at. It is the ideal purchase for those who love the kitchen as a space for expression, for those who give thoughtful gifts, and for anyone who smiles at a jar of pasta without feeling embarrassed. Project notes: blown glass jar with an airtight seal and a black thermoplastic resin lid. Capacity 70 cl, diameter 10.5 cm, height 12 cm. A di Alessi Collection, autumn/winter season.
