Alessi — GIA30 | Bâton Lélé in 18/10 stainless steel

There is something almost ritualistic about the careful preparation of a cocktail. Alessi's GIA30 - nicknamed *Bâton Lélé* in tribute to the ancient Creole tool of the French Antilles - was created to restore all the dignity to that gesture. Made of 18/10 stainless steel, the bar stirrer feels natural in the hand: the slender shaft (4.8 cm in diameter at the base) and generous height of 33.5 cm ensure control and elegance with every rotary movement. The cool, polished surface, almost tactile in its precision, is already an invitation to refined mixology. The project was born from the collaboration between Giulio Iacchetti and Oscar Quagliarini, two designers who move effortlessly between function and storytelling. Iacchetti - one of the most awarded designers on the contemporary Italian scene, a two-time Compasso d'Oro winner - brings his ability to find a space for poetry in everyday forms. The traditional *bâton lélé* is a forked twig used in Caribbean kitchens to mix drinks: Alessi reinterprets its archetype in a metallic, urban key, without losing the original's playful spirit. We chose it for Stilmobili because it perfectly captures what we believe in: the most successful design proves nothing, but quietly transforms every action into a pleasure. The GIA30 is designed for those who love entertaining in style, the discerning home bartender, and anyone who sees their home bar as an extension of their aesthetic taste.
