Alessi — Food à Porter SA06 LAZ | Light blue two-compartment snack box

There is something subtly poetic about carrying your lunch in a container that does not sacrifice aesthetics. Food à Porter is a two-compartment snack box made of sky-blue thermoplastic resin: a color that evokes lightness, distance from everyday chaos, and a pause of order and color in the middle of the day. Its clean lines, secure closure, and thoughtfully designed interior division transform a mundane act — putting something in your backpack in the morning — into a small personal ritual. The design bears the signature of Sakura Adachi, a Japanese designer who, with Alessi, has explored the intersection between the formal sensitivity of Japanese design and a taste for everyday objects elevated to domestic icons. Food à Porter belongs to the Alessi Palinsesto collection for the fall/winter season, confirming how the Crusinallo brand continues to look to everyday objects — the water bottle, lunch box, thermos — as fertile ground for rethinking the relationship between form and function without ever compromising on aesthetics. At Stilmobili, we chose this piece because it perfectly represents what we believe in: design does not end at the doorstep. Food à Porter is designed for those who experience the spaces they inhabit with care, as well as the rhythms they move through. It is ideal for urban professionals, for those who bring lunch to the office without giving up style, or for anyone who wants to give an original and useful gift, far removed from the usual gadget rhetoric.
