Alessi — Flint MA05S6 MA05S6 WAX | Small scented candle refill

There is something primordial in the name Flint - flint, spark, humanity's first fire. The scented candle refill from the AlessiPalinsesto collection comes as a 250-gram disc of plant-based wax, silent and dense, ready to dissolve slowly into the air of a room. The Flint fragrance is not a comforting fragrance: it is mineral and dry, with the almost tactile quality of cold glass and freshly touched stone. A perfume that speaks more of the interior than the exterior, more of shelter than the garden. The project was born from the collaboration between Alessi and Michael Anastassiades, a Cypriot-London designer among the most respected of his generation, known for a formal language of rare coherence - essential geometries, honest materials, and a certain poetics of silence applied to everyday objects. Entrusting him with a fragrance collection means extending that same philosophy into an immaterial dimension: perfume as form, fragrance as the architecture of air. The collection is part of Alessi's fall/winter seasonal calendar, conceived for the months when the light recedes and the home becomes the gravitational center of domestic life. At Stilmobili, we chose Flint because it speaks to those who furnish with intention: to those who do not consider fragrance an accessory, but a design component of the environment. It is the ideal refill for those who have already chosen the container with the same care they would use to choose a vase or diffuser, and want to extend the experience without compromising on the quality of the raw materials - plant-based wax, clean burning, gradual diffusion.
