Alessi — Filo MSC01 | Stainless steel tape dispenser

There is a certain poetry in the everyday gesture of tearing off adhesive tape - a banal, almost unconscious act that "Filo" transforms into a small ritual of elegance. Made of 18/10 stainless steel, this tape dispenser sits on the desk with the discretion of an object that knows it is beautiful without having to say so. Its compact dimensions - 8 cm by 5.5 cm - make it a quiet yet precise presence, capable of bringing order and character even to the most austere workspace. "Filo" was designed by Marie Schenker, a designer trained at ECAL, the University of Art and Design in Lausanne, an institution that has been in dialogue with Alessi for decades in a fruitful relationship between academic experimentation and high-quality industrial production. The project is part of Alessi's Palinsesto fall/winter collection, that editorial season in which the Crusinallo-based brand chooses to explore ordinary objects and return them transformed, endowed with renewed formal dignity. We at Stilmobili chose "Filo" because it perfectly embodies the philosophy that guides our selection: objects that do not merely perform a function, but inhabit it with grace. It is the ideal accessory for those who care for their desk with the same attention given to the living room, for those who consider their workspace an extension of their taste. A refined gift, a small declaration of style. Project notes: Made of 18/10 stainless steel, net weight 105 g. Currently in the end-of-line phase - limited availability.
