Alessi — Figlio delle Stelle AGJ01 18 | Porcelain Christmas figurine

There is something ancient and, at the same time, fairytale-like about holding the *Son of the Stars*: a statuette in pure white porcelain that seems to have stepped out of an illustrated story, small in size but striking in its presence. Its compact dimensions - just over eight centimeters in height - make it an object to hold between your fingers with the same care used to clasp something precious, something belonging to Christmas's suspended moment. The hand-applied decoration gives each piece its own quiet uniqueness, a subtle mark that distinguishes one example from another. Behind this small figure are two names that, in the Italian design scene, carry a precise and recognizable imagery: Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori. Both connected to the worlds of graphic design and illustration, and to a certain pop and ironic idea of beauty, they collaborated with Alessi as part of the *AlessiPalinsesto* project, the collection that each fall/winter season places objects under the tree that are decorative without ever being banal. The *Son of the Stars* was born from this creative partnership: an object that plays with Christmas iconography, reinterpreting it through an authorial and contemporary lens. At Stilmobili, we chose it because we believe that decorating the home for the holidays is an act of aesthetic care, not an indulgence in seasonal kitsch. It is the ideal gift for those who collect design with irony, for those looking for a detail capable of telling a story beneath the lights of a tree, and for those who give objects with a soul as well as a name.
