Alessi — Eugenia NF10 | 18/10 stainless steel bottle cooler

There is something quietly perfect about Eugenia. The cooler designed by Naoto Fukasawa for Alessi does not seek spectacle, yet achieves it through subtraction: a form that asserts itself in space with the same quietude as an object that has always been there. 18/10 stainless steel — polished, cool to the touch, capable of reflecting light with that almost photographic precision belonging only to materials worked with care — becomes, in Fukasawa's hands, a thinking surface. The handles, naturally integrated into the body's profile, transform the act of serving into something deliberate, almost ritualistic. Naoto Fukasawa is among the most rigorous designers on the international scene: trained in Japan and later a longtime collaborator of IDEO in the United States, he has built an unmistakable philosophy around the concept of "without thought" — design that dissolves into use, anticipating the gesture before the user is even aware of it. His work for Alessi fits perfectly into the tradition of Crusinallo craftsmanship, where industrial form meets artisanal quality in a balance found nowhere else in the world. We chose Eugenia for those who consider the table a place of aesthetic composition before conviviality. It is the right accessory for anyone who serves white wine or sparkling wine with the same care they devote to choosing the glass, the linen, and the light. Not a serving object: a collectible piece that works. Project notes: made of 18/10 stainless steel, the cooler measures 26 × 22 × 22 cm with a capacity of 550 cl — proportions designed to accommodate a standard bottle with enough room for ice. Net weight 1.96 kg, part of the Alessi Palinsesto autumn/winter collection.
