Alessi — ES22/22 ES22/22 38 | Sottsass La Bella Tavola oval plate

There is something profoundly Mediterranean in the way this oval serving platter presents itself on the table: the luminous, pristine white porcelain, capable of reflecting light like the surface of still water. The proportions - 38 centimeters long by 30 wide - define a generous oval, designed to hold, to share, to turn the act of serving into a moment of silent grace. The decoration, refined and never excessive, speaks the language of a beauty that does not age. Behind this plate is the signature of Ettore Sottsass, one of the undisputed masters of 20th-century Italian design. Founder of the Memphis movement and creator of objects that redefined the relationship between form and meaning, Sottsass brought to *La Bella Tavola* - renamed *My Beautiful China* for the international market - a vision of the table as a ritual and poetic place. Not simply tableware, but a system of objects that transforms the everyday meal into a conscious aesthetic experience. Produced by Alessi, the collection testifies to the ability of great Italian industry to preserve and enhance creative genius. At Stilmobili, we chose this plate because it embodies exactly what we look for: objects with a story to tell, a discreet yet unmistakable presence. It is ideal for those who love setting the table with intention, for those who consider the table an extension of their home sensibility. A purchase designed to last, to be used every day or reserved for occasions that deserve special care. Design notes: decorated white porcelain, dimensions 38 × 30 cm, net weight 1.37 kg. Alessi collection, designed by Ettore Sottsass. Seasonal spring/summer appeal, available in the complete *La Bella Tavola* range.
