Alessi — Edo PU113/20 B | Urquiola nonstick pan, black

There is something deeply contemporary about the way Edo appears on the heat: the matte black surface of the aluminum with non-stick coating absorbs light without reflecting it, while the 18/10 stainless steel handle with a warm brown PVD finish introduces an unexpected, almost earthy color note. A dialogue between material and color that transforms an everyday gesture - cooking - into an act of aesthetic awareness. Edo was born from the vision of Patricia Urquiola, a Spanish designer who became a Milanese citizen, and one of the most authoritative voices in contemporary international design. With Alessi, Urquiola develops a profound reflection on the domestic ritual: the kitchen as an emotional space, cooking tools as objects capable of inhabiting the cooktop with the same dignity with which a vase inhabits a shelf. The Edo collection reinterprets quality cookware through a personal visual vocabulary, where engineering functionality - the magnetic steel base compatible with induction cooking - is never separate from the design intention. At Stilmobili, we chose Edo because it embodies exactly what we look for in kitchen accessories: the ability to be impeccable tools without giving up character. It is the ideal frying pan for those who accept no compromises between performance and beauty, for those who arrange a kitchen as they would an interior - with consistency, care, and a precise view of the world.
