Alessi — Edges ITM10 | Pierced steel ice bucket

There is something hypnotic about the edge of Edges: a precisely perforated 18/10 stainless steel ribbon that wraps around the bottle cooler like industrial lace. The perforated surface is not merely a decorative gesture - it captures the light, casts delicate shadows on the table, and transforms an everyday act like chilling a bottle into a moment of pure visual contemplation. In the hand, it has just the right weight, the kind that inspires confidence in the gesture. Edges was born from the collaboration between Alessi and Nika Zupanc, a Slovenian designer known as one of the most distinctive voices in the contemporary European scene, recognized for an aesthetic that intertwines formal seduction with subtle irony. The piece is part of the *Il Tornitore Matto* collection, a project whose name itself makes a declaration of intent: craftsmanship as an extreme, almost visionary creative act, where steelworking achieves extraordinarily light results. Zupanc accomplishes the rare feat of making metal appear airy, almost fragile. At Stilmobili, we chose Edges because it perfectly embodies that tension between function and beauty that we seek in every piece in our selection. It is the right object for anyone who sets a table with the same care they use to choose an outfit, for anyone who knows that a well-presented bottle of wine is already an act of hospitality. Perfect as a high-end gift, capable of surprising even those who believe they already have everything. Project notes: diameter 23.10 cm, height 23.00 cm. 18/10 stainless steel. Il Tornitore Matto collection, autumn/winter season. Design by Nika Zupanc for Alessi.
