Alessi — Edges ITM10 BR | PVD brass-finished steel ice bucket

There is something hypnotic about the perforated edge of Edges: a ribbon of 18/10 stainless steel that opens into a geometric lace, coated in warm PVD brass that catches the light and gives it back with the same generosity with which a good wine opens in the glass. The bottle cooler is not here merely to lower the bottle's temperature - it is here to elevate the tone of the table, to transform the act of serving into a small visual ritual. Edges was created by Nika Zupanc, a Slovenian designer and one of the most refined voices in the contemporary European design scene, capable of moving effortlessly between formal seduction and almost sculptural precision. The piece is part of the *Il Tornitore Matto* collection, one of Alessi's most ambitious projects of recent years: a universe in which the lathe - the quintessential ancient tool - engages with the language of auteur design, producing objects that seem to come from a future in which craftsmanship still has warm hands. The perforation along the edge is Zupanc's signature: ornament that is never decoration for its own sake, but a structure that lightens without hollowing out. At Stilmobili, we chose Edges because it embodies exactly the tension we love: between function and desire, between a set table and applied art. It is the perfect gift for someone who already has everything, and the ideal complement for anyone who builds a home with the same rigor with which they choose an outfit. One can imagine it on a festive table, beside a bottle of Burgundy, or as a permanent presence on a sideboard - beautiful enough never to want to hide it.
