Alessi — Duna MZ01/1 | Zanuso stainless steel table spoon

There is an almost mineral purity in Alessi's Duna spoon: the polished 18/10 stainless steel blade flows from the bowl of the spoon into the handle with a fluidity that recalls, in name and form, the soft profile of a sand dune. No sharp edges, no interruptions - only a line that tapers and opens with the same naturalness with which the wind shapes the landscape. The mirror finish captures the light on the table and returns it amplified, transforming every everyday gesture into a small aesthetic act. Duna is a project by Marco Zanuso, an essential figure in twentieth-century Italian industrial design, who with Alessi charted a clear direction: that of objects capable of inhabiting the table without overpowering it. Zanuso - architect, designer, theorist - always believed that form should arise from within function, rather than be imposed upon it. In Duna, this principle translates into a calibrated balance between ergonomic grip and sculptural silhouette, between rigor and sensuality. We chose Duna for those who set a table with intention: not simply to lay it, but to create an atmosphere. It is the right service for a design kitchen that refuses to give in to nostalgia, for those who love minimalism without coldness and seek cutlery capable of conversing with artisanal ceramics as much as with contemporary porcelain. In the hand, it is exactly what it appears to be: solid, precise, necessary. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, polished finish. Length 19 cm. Net weight 54 g. Part of the Duna collection, available as a complete service.
