Alessi — Pescher | Designer D'Urbino Lomazzi Trivet

Pescher — The Trivet That Brings Irony and Form to the Table

An everyday object that is not content simply to be useful. Pescher enters the kitchen with the lightness of someone who knows that even a simple gesture - placing down a hot pot - can become a small visual pleasure. The polished-steel fish-shaped decorations catch the light, while the structure effortlessly adapts to any size of pot or baking dish.

Why We Chose It for You

Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi have been collaborating since 1966 on designs that intertwine pop culture, humour, and formal rigour. Pescher - code DUL03 - is one of their most successful interpretations for Alessi: an object that brings three decades of industrial design research to the table, presented in a form that makes you smile without sacrificing elegance. Founded in 1921 on Lake Orta, Alessi has for over a century been the place where Italian designers and craftspeople transform mass production into material culture.
