Alessi — Dry 4180/4 | Castiglioni Dessert Spoon

There is a silent dialectic in the Dry spoon that reveals itself only to the touch: the front of the handle, polished to a mirror finish until it reflects light with almost geometric precision, meets the satin-finished back in a contrast that is never a contradiction, but a conversation. The 18/10 stainless steel, chosen for its metallurgical nobility and resistance over time, becomes living material here, capable of returning warmth to the hands despite its inherently cool nature. Dry was born from the mind of Achille Castiglioni, one of the undisputed masters of twentieth-century Italian design, capable of transforming every everyday object into a manifesto of design thinking. With this cutlery set, Castiglioni brings the same refined irony and formal intelligence that made him legendary in every other field of design to the dining table. The name itself - Dry, dry - is an aesthetic statement: no superfluous ornament, only form serving function, with a purity that feels like perfection. At Stilmobili, we chose Dry because it represents exactly what we believe in: beauty that does not announce itself, but reveals itself in everyday gestures. It is the spoon for those who set the table with intention, for those who recognize the measure of taste in detail. Ideal for design lovers who wish to bring a piece of the history of Italian design into their everyday lives, without giving up absolute practicality. Project notes: length 17 cm, in 18/10 stainless steel with a polished finish on the front and a satin finish on the back of the handle. Part of the complete Dry cutlery set designed by Achille Castiglioni for Alessi.
