Alessi — Dressed MW306 | Marcel Wanders perforated pasta basket

There is something almost sartorial about the way the MW306 basket presents itself in the kitchen: the polished 18/10 stainless steel reflects light with the clarity characteristic of objects designed to last, while the perforated surface transforms an everyday domestic gesture - draining pasta - into a small moment of grace. Its diameter of twenty centimeters and height of twenty-two make it a proportioned, well-balanced tool that feels good in the hands even before it looks good on the cooktop. The design was born from the collaboration between Alessi and Marcel Wanders, a Dutch designer who has built his creative vision on the hybridization of craftsmanship and industrial production, decorative memory and contemporary functionality. With the *Dressed* collection, Wanders brings the language of embroidered fabric and floral embroidery into the kitchen: the basket's perforations are not simple technical holes, but a pattern that evokes lace, the delicate texture of a linen tablecloth. An object that belongs as much to the table as to the imagery of a high-quality Italian home. At Stilmobili, we chose *Dressed* because it perfectly embodies the tension we love: function does not give up beauty, and beauty does not sacrifice constructional rigor. It is the ideal gift for those who care for their kitchen with the same attention they give their living room, and for those who consider utensils an integral part of a thoughtful home design. Now listed as discontinued, the MW306 also becomes a collectible, a rare opportunity for those who truly want it. *Project notes* — Material: polished 18/10 stainless steel. Diameter: 20 cm.
