Alessi — Dressed MW03/7 | Wanders teaspoon

There is something unexpected about lifting a teaspoon and discovering, beneath your fingers, the story of a fabric. Marcel Wanders' Dressed brings a raised decoration to the surface of 18/10 stainless steel that evokes the texture of embroidery, almost like a second skin applied to the metal. Holding it means perceiving the contrast between the material coolness of steel and the handcrafted warmth of the ornamental motif: a tension that is, ultimately, the very essence of this object. Dressed was born from the vision of Marcel Wanders, one of the most recognizable Dutch designers on the international scene, capable of creating a poetic language made of Baroque references and contemporary sensibility. The collection, developed with Alessi, reinterprets the tradition of the set table through an ornament that is never decorative overlay for its own sake, but a narrative structure. Each piece in the series interacts with the others to create a dressed table - as the name itself suggests - with care and intention. At Stilmobili, we chose Dressed because it represents exactly what we look for when we talk about tableware design: objects that transform the everyday act of serving and sharing into a mindful aesthetic experience. It is the ideal teaspoon for those who set the table as they would furnish a room - with character, memory, and a touch of sophisticated irony. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, length 13 cm, weight 42 g. Dishwasher safe. Part of a complete collection that includes forks, knives, spoons, and matching accessories.
