Alessi — Dressed MW03/6 | Wanders fruit knife

There is something unexpected about holding this fruit knife: the AISI 420 steel blade is sharp and precise, as its function demands, but the surface tells another story. The handle is dressed - as the collection's name suggests - with a raised decoration that transforms an everyday gesture into a small aesthetic ritual. Eighteen centimeters of steel in which technical rigor and ornament, utility and visual appeal coexist. Dressed was created by Marcel Wanders, one of the most recognizable Dutch designers on the contemporary international scene, known for his ability to reconnect design and decoration in an era that had long glorified absolute minimalism. For Alessi, Wanders created a cutlery collection in which decoration is not a superficial addition but a structural element of the object's identity: each piece is, literally, dressed for the occasion. A tribute to the great tradition of European silversmithing, reinterpreted with irony and lightness. At Stilmobili, we chose Dressed because it perfectly embodies that tension between memory and contemporaneity that distinguishes objects made to last. It is the right knife for those who set the table with intention, who see the table as a space for care and not merely necessity. Ideal as part of a complete set or as a tasteful gift for those who appreciate quality even in the smallest details. Project notes: AISI 420 stainless steel, length 18 cm, raised decoration across the entire surface. Part of the Dressed collection for Alessi, available in a coordinated table cutlery set.
