Alessi — Dressed MW03/12 | Wanders serving fork

There is something profoundly theatrical about the Dressed collection: each piece carries a garment, an ornament, a story engraved in the material. The MW03/12 serving fork is made of 18/10 stainless steel - the quintessential noble alloy of the contemporary table - and is distinguished by a raised decoration that runs along the handle with the grace of an antique embroidery. Twenty-five centimeters of formal balance, designed to accompany the act of serving with the same care used to set the table. Marcel Wanders, one of the most visionary Dutch designers of his time, envisioned Dressed as a celebration of the past reinterpreted through an exceptionally modern sensibility. The collection was born from the desire to restore to the table the decorative richness that minimalist design had partly set aside, without ever slipping into excess. The raised motifs evoke the tradition of European silversmithing, but the choice of stainless steel and the overall clarity of the design firmly anchor them in the contemporary. At Stilmobili, we chose Dressed because it perfectly embodies that tension between memory and the present that we seek in every object brought into our space. It is the right piece for those who love to set the table with intention, and for whom the table is a place of aesthetics as well as conviviality. Ideal as a wedding gift or for completing a refined table setting, it pairs naturally with both classic porcelain and contemporary artisanal ceramics. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, length 25 cm, weight 232 g. Part of the Dressed collection, designed by Marcel Wanders for Alessi.
