Alessi — Double DUL02/32 | Black double-wall bowl with decoration

There is something hypnotic about the deep black of the Double bowl: a surface that does not merely contain, but holds the gaze. The double wall in stainless steel, coated with black epoxy resin, conceals a structural complexity to the touch that the eye senses without seeing. The raised decoration discreetly breaks up the monochrome, like a shadow moving across the surface - a mark, not decoration. Thirty-two centimeters in diameter for an object that occupies the stage without imposing itself, capable of holding fruit, bread, or simply the silence of a carefully set table. Behind Double is the signature of Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi, a Milanese duo among the longest-standing and most recognizable names in Italian design. Active since the 1960s - famous for the inflatable Joe armchair and for an approach that has always balanced formal irony with constructive rigor - they bring to this piece their ability to see everyday objects as opportunities for expression. Even in a bowl, even in everyday life, there is a thesis to uphold. At Stilmobili, we chose Double because it represents exactly what we are looking for: an object that does not need to explain itself. It is designed for those who are not satisfied with a decorative centerpiece, but want something that brings function and aesthetics together with the same natural elegance. Ideal for a contemporary kitchen, a minimalist open-plan space, or as a sophisticated gift for someone who already has everything - except this. Design notes: Stainless steel with black epoxy resin coating. Raised decoration on the outer surface. Diameter 32 cm, height 9.5 cm. Weight 2.027 kg. Alessi collection, autumn/winter lineup.
