Alessi — Dervisci ITM20 CU | Copper-finish stainless steel tumbler

There is something hypnotic about the rotation of a lathe. The shape of the Dervisci emerges precisely from that circular, obsessive movement, from that mechanical dance that transforms raw metal into an object of pure geometry. The glass takes the form of a sober yet magnetic cylinder: 18/10 stainless steel coated in copper-colored PVD, a surface that captures the light and gives it back warmly, almost golden, as if the contents - whatever they may be - suddenly acquired an added, ritual value. The Dervisci belongs to the *Il Tornitore Matto* collection, designed by Michele De Lucchi for Alessi. De Lucchi, a master of Italian design who trained within the Memphis Group and later became one of the discipline's most reflective and poetic voices, conceived this series as a tribute to artisanal turning - an ancient gesture that survives at the heart of industrial manufacturing in Crusinallo. The name itself, Dervisci, evokes the whirling dervishes of the Sufi tradition: the lathe as meditation, the form as a spiritual trajectory. At Stilmobili, we chose this glass because it represents exactly what we seek: objects that carry a story and an aesthetic without sacrificing function. The Dervisci is ideal for those who set a table with intention - not to show off, but to create an atmosphere. It pairs naturally with a contemporary table setting, but finds its most authentic expression in an industrial-chic setting or in interiors with warm, tactile tones. Design notes: diameter 9.4 cm, height 9.5 cm. 18/10 stainless steel with copper PVD finish. Weight 250 g. Il Tornitore Matto collection, autumn/winter season.
