Alessi — DC06/3 | Aluminum moka pot by David Chipperfield

There is something deeply ritualistic about morning coffee, and Alessi's DC06/3 knows it well. Made of cast aluminum with a gray polyamide handle and knob, this three-cup coffee maker brings an essential, almost sculptural geometry to the stovetop. The body is dense, compact, and distinctly industrial, yet capable of a quiet presence on the cooktop that few everyday objects can achieve. David Chipperfield, an internationally renowned British architect, designed it. He is known for a formal sensibility that favors structural clarity over decoration and the honesty of materials over ornament. His collaboration with Alessi is part of an established brand tradition: entrusting the most ordinary objects — coffee, bread, salt — to the hands of those who have designed museums and libraries, restoring design dignity to the domestic gesture. The DC06/3 is the result of this vision: a kitchen object conceived with the same care as architecture. At Stilmobili, we chose it because it tells us something close to our hearts: beauty does not need special occasions. It is for those who furnish the kitchen with the same care they devote to the living room, for those who recognize in the details — the curve of a handle, the precise gray of a knob — the mark of a thoughtful choice. A moka pot to display, not hide. Project notes: cast aluminum espresso coffee maker, capacity 3 cups (15 cl). Handle and knob in gray polyamide. Dimensions: 16 × 9 × 13.5 cm. Designed by David Chipperfield for Alessi, permanent collection.
