Alessi — Convivio DC200/24 | Satin-finished stainless steel lid

There is a geometry of silence in large kitchen lids: that form that closes, contains, protects. The Alessi Convivio DC200/24 lid - 24 centimeters in diameter, made of satin-finished 18/10 stainless steel - belongs to that category of objects that do not seek attention but deserve it. The matte surface absorbs the kitchen light without reflecting it, instead offering an almost mineral tactile quality: solid, reassuring. Holding it is already a considered gesture. Convivio was born from the unlikely and fruitful meeting between David Chipperfield, one of the most influential British architects of his generation, and Pietro Leemann, a Zurich chef specializing in fine vegetarian cuisine and owner of Milan's Joia. Chipperfield brings the discipline of volume and the formal purity we recognize in his museums and public spaces - rigor without coldness. Leemann brings a culture of nourishment understood as ritual, as a relational act. The result is a line of cookware that betrays neither legacy: functional, with a certain poetic severity. At Stilmobili, we chose Convivio because it represents what we always seek in design kitchens: the idea that even the most everyday accessory can be the result of precise thought. This lid is ideal for those who already have a carefully designed kitchen and do not intend to interrupt it with a compromise. For those who cook with intention and want every element of the cooktop to speak the same language as the rest of the home. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, satin finish, diameter 24 cm, height 4.5 cm. Compatible with the Convivio line casseroles. Net weight 750 g. Alessi collection, autumn/winter program.
