Alessi — Convivio DC102/24 | Chipperfield trilaminated steel low saucepan

There is a quiet quality to the Convivio saucepan that goes beyond function. The satin-finished 18/10 stainless steel surface captures light discreetly, while the three-layer construction - AISI 430 magnetic layer, aluminium core, 18/10 stainless steel interior - conveys to the touch and to the eye the feeling of a tool designed to last. The steel handles with PVD finish complete the profile with an elegant, almost architectural firmness. Twenty-four centimetres in diameter, six and a half centimetres high: proportions calibrated for those who cook with intention. Convivio was born from the unlikely and fruitful encounter between David Chipperfield, one of the most influential British architects of his generation, and Pietro Leemann, chef and philosopher of haute vegetarian cuisine, owner of Milan's Joia restaurant. Two perspectives distant in their training - the spatial discipline of architecture and the almost meditative sensitivity of mindful cuisine - converge in a project that treats the saucepan as one would a building: with structural rigour and respect for the material. At Stilmobili, we chose Convivio because it represents exactly that borderland where kitchen design stops being an accessory and becomes a cultural object. It is the ideal companion for anyone who furnishes their kitchen with the same care given to the living room: a creative professional, a gastronomy enthusiast, anyone who rejects the separation between aesthetics and everyday life. Compatible with all cooktops, including induction. Project notes: capacity 2.7 litres · diameter 24 cm · three-layer construction AISI 430 / aluminium / 18/10 stainless steel · handles with PVD finish · suitable for induction · net weight 1.69 kg.
