Alessi — Clivo PU10/15 | Urquiola steel cake server

There is something ritualistic about the act of serving a cake: a suspended moment, charged with anticipation and conviviality. Alessi's Clivo cake server accompanies that gesture with a grace all its own — the 18/10 stainless steel reflects the light discreetly, while the blade's profile conveys a geometry that is soft yet decisive, designed to glide naturally between the layers. Twenty-six centimeters of length that are forgotten in the hand, because successful design does not announce itself: it simply works. Clivo was born from the vision of Patricia Urquiola, a Spanish designer trained in Milan and one of the most influential voices in contemporary design. Urquiola has always brought a rare sensitivity to her work: the ability to make everyday objects emotionally rich without ever slipping into gratuitous ornamentation. Her work with Alessi follows this trajectory — a dialogue between industrial rigor and human warmth that the Crusinallo factory has made its own since its finest days. At Stilmobili, we chose Clivo because it represents exactly what we look for in our tables: a piece that does not need to explain itself. It is the ideal accessory for those who care about every detail of the table setting, for those who consider mise en place an act of authorship rather than a formality. It pairs naturally with structured cutlery sets, but knows how to hold the center on its own, on an essential and considered table. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, polished finish. Dimensions 26.1 × 6.1 cm, profile height 1.9 cm. Weight 225 g. Clivo Collection, Alessi — fall/winter season.
