Alessi — Cillina PP01 PP01 1/USA | Sculptural lamp in elastic fabric

Cillina is a light that breathes. The decorated stretch fabric covering its steel structure is not simply a casing: it is the object's very surface, soft to the touch and surprising to the eye, capable of transforming a 1-watt light source into something much closer to a creature than an appliance. Its proportions - forty centimetres wide, eighteen deep, and twenty-three high - create a compact yet distinctive presence, perfect on a console, bedside table, or bookshelf where you want the light to tell a story. The lamp belongs to the *I love animals* collection designed by Pier Paolo Pitacco for Alessi, a project that has moved with refined irony along the boundary between functional design and an object of affection. Pitacco, a Venetian designer with a pronounced sensitivity to materials, worked with the tension of stretch fabric as a formal language: not applied decoration, but a skin that defines the character of the object. With its gently animal-like silhouette, Cillina is both a lamp and a small domestic inhabitant. At Stilmobili, we chose Cillina because it represents exactly the borderland that interests us most: the point where design ceases to be neutral and becomes storytelling. It is designed for those who furnish with intention and are not afraid to bring an object with a distinct personality into their home - collectors of Alessi pieces, lovers of sophisticated humorous design, or simply anyone who wants a light that makes them smile. *Project notes:* 1W / 12V LED technology, decorated stretch fabric over a steel structure. Replacement white stretch fabric available. End-of-line item: limited availability.
