Alessi — Barket | Made in Italy Centerpiece Basket

Alessi Barket - Tree Bark Comes to the Table

There is something intimate about bringing to the table a basket that tells the story of a landscape. Barket was born from a home in the Tuscan countryside, from the rhythm of the seasons and the rough surface of the centuries-old trees surrounding it. The result is an object capable of transforming even the simplest gesture - serving bread, fruit, or small seasonal berries - into a moment of visual care.

Why we chose it for you

Since 1921, Alessi has been an Italian applied arts workshop that entrusts its objects to rigorous design research. Barket is designed by Michael Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui: the laser-cut perforated decoration is not an added embellishment, but the basket's structure itself, inspired by the bark of the trees the two designers observe every day from their Tuscan studio. 18/10 stainless steel, crafted with industrial precision yet with a natural, organic soul.
