Alessi — Charon and Minos AMGI42SET3 | Hand-painted porcelain figurines

Two figures from the underworld materialize in white porcelain: Charon, the ferryman of souls, and Minos, the judge of the dead. Small and solemn, they contain an entire world within just ten centimeters of height - that of classical mythology reinterpreted with subtle irony and artisanal grace. Each piece is hand-decorated, meaning that no two are identical: an imperceptible variation in the brushwork, a slightly different shade of color, makes these figurines unique in the most literal sense of the word. Massimo Giacon - Venetian artist, comic-book artist, and designer, one of the most original figures on the Italian scene - conceived these figures as part of the *A by Alessi* collection, the project through which the company brings into production objects at the boundary between applied art, design, and pop culture. Giacon has worked with Alessi for years, combining scholarly references with a taste for the uncanny, transforming cultural archetypes into household objects capable of inspiring wonder and conversation. At Stilmobili, we chose *Charon and Minos* for those who see the home as a space for personal storytelling - for the curious collector, and for anyone who loves surrounding themselves with objects that tell a story, prompt a question, or bring a smile. They are the ideal gift for someone who already has everything but does not yet have these two guardians of Hades on their shelf. Discontinued, they are already pieces to preserve. *Design notes:* Set of two figurines, hand-decorated porcelain. Dimensions: 9.5 × 6 × 10 cm. Designer: Massimo Giacon (LPWK). A collection by Alessi. Fall/winter season. End of series.
