Alessi — Caccia LCD01/18 | 18/10 stainless steel fish knife

There is a quiet perfection in the Caccia fish knife that reveals itself only to the touch. The 18/10 stainless steel offers a restrained, almost ethereal sheen that does not seek attention but wins it over time. The blade - designed in its geometry to accommodate the delicacy of fish flesh - engages with the handle in a balance that speaks of a mature design, where every gram is in its proper place and the hand never feels the weight, only the presence. Designed in 1938 by Luigi Caccia Dominioni together with brothers Livio and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, the Caccia cutlery collection represents one of the foundational chapters of twentieth-century Italian design. Three legendary figures - who would later follow equally decisive individual paths - come together in a project of rare formal coherence. Alessi has reissued it for decades in its permanent collection, recognizing its value as not only historical but exquisitely contemporary: a classic that does not age because it has never chased fashion. At Stilmobili, we chose Caccia because it embodies exactly what we seek when we talk about enduring design: objects that come to the table and never leave, passing through generations without betraying their identity. It is the right cutlery for those who set a table with intention, for those who know that the difference between a meal and an experience is often measured in the most discreet details.
