Alessi — Caccia 90022/22 A | Ice cream spoon in 925‰ silver

There is something profoundly Italian about the way an ice cream spoon can become an object of desire. The 90022/22A from the Caccia series demonstrates this with the customary eloquence of 925 ‰ silver: a material that never ages in the deteriorative sense of the term, but acquires over time a patina of lived experience capable of recounting every summer, every shared cup, every moment of slow pleasure. The shape is essential and measured, with that millimeter-perfect proportion that distinguishes a crafted object from a simple piece of cutlery.

The Caccia series is one of the most significant in Alessi's entire history: designed in 1938 by Luigi Caccia Dominioni together with brothers Livio and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni - three names that would leave an indelible mark on twentieth-century Italian design and architecture - it represents one of the rare cases in which modernity and classicism find a synthesis without compromise. Incorporated into the Officina Alessi catalog, the collection retains its character as a sophisticated design project, born in an era when design was not yet called by that name but was already practiced with absolute rigor.

At Stilmobili, we chose this spoon because it embodies exactly what we seek: objects that have a story to tell even before they are used. It is intended for those who consider the table a space of care and culture, for those who give with intention and receive with gratitude. Available to order in 925 ‰ silver, it is a gift of rare elegance - for an anniversary, a christening, or anyone who deserves something truly lasting.
