Alessi — Bunny & Carrot | Giovannoni Design Paper Towel Holder

Alessi "Bunny & Carrot" — The Bunny That Brings Order to the Kitchen

There is something disarming about the way an everyday object, usually overlooked, suddenly becomes the visual centerpiece of the kitchen. Alessi's Bunny & Carrot paper towel holder transforms a banal gesture - tearing off a sheet of paper - into a small moment of pleasure, thanks to the quiet, ironic presence of Stefano Giovannoni's bunny.

Why we chose it for you

Stefano Giovannoni is among the most recognizable designers in Alessi's history: his exploration of zoomorphic and figurative imagery has produced objects capable of bringing lightness and narrative to domestic spaces. Bunny & Carrot is a precise example - a kitchen paper towel holder, a category traditionally neglected by auteur design, elevated into a small narrative sculpture. Founded in 1921 on Lake Orta, Alessi has built its identity around this very idea: that every object in everyday life deserves thoughtful design and, why not, a touch of irony.
