Alessi — Bombé CA11/8 | Polished stainless steel coffee maker

There is something immutable in the Bombé's silhouette: that plump, enveloping form, polished to perfection in 18/10 stainless steel, speaks of an aesthetic that does not need updating because it has already found its point of balance. The polished body captures the light and returns it in soft, almost liquid reflections, while the black Bakelite handle and knob introduce a restrained, essential material contrast - warm to the touch, secure in the grip, faithful to tradition. The Bombé was created by Carlo Alessi, son of founder Giovanni and a central figure in shaping the aesthetic identity of the Crusinallo manufacturer. Designed in the 1940s, this coffee maker belongs to the Officina Alessi collection and represents one of the first formal exercises through which the Alessi family began transforming an everyday object into an object of material culture. The "Bombé" line - its name evokes its rounded, convex, almost sculptural form - anticipated by decades the debate on the relationship between design, industry, and domestic beauty. At Stilmobili, we chose the Bombé because it embodies with rare consistency what we seek in every piece in our selection: the ability to turn function into an aesthetic gesture. It is the ideal coffee service for those who live consciously, for those who recognize the morning breakfast ritual as a moment of care for themselves and their guests. A purchase that does not fear the passage of time. Project notes: polished 18/10 stainless steel, Bakelite handle and knob. Capacity: 100 cl. Dimensions: 21 × 12 × 16 cm. Weight: 640 g.
