Why we chose it for you

Blip is the first spoon rest ever to enter the Alessi catalogue: a milestone that reveals how this seemingly simple object actually filled a gap that had yet to be addressed. Designed by LPWK (Laura Polinoro Workshop) and Paolo Gerosa, it belongs to the Objets-Bijoux collection — small functional objects that Alessi treats with the same care reserved for jewellery, highlighting the skilled craftsmanship of metal. The name Blip is onomatopoeic: it evokes the wave of a drop bouncing in water, and that same fluid shape accommodates spoons and ladles of different lengths and sizes.
