Alessi — Mattina | Bamboo Toilet Roll Holder

Alessi Mattina - The Paper Towel Holder That Also Belongs on the Table

There is something pleasing about the everyday gesture of tearing off a sheet of kitchen paper: it feels even more natural when the object holding it has a discreet yet refined presence. Mattina sits on the counter or at the center of the table without taking up space, with a slender silhouette that does not demand attention but receives it nonetheless.

Why we chose it for you

Alessi was founded in 1921 on Lake Orta as an artisan workshop and for over a century has translated domestic function into form. Mattina is a precise example of this philosophy: an accessory found in every kitchen is reimagined with a minimalist design, carefully considered proportions, and a bamboo wood detail that softens the industrial character of the steel. The project was designed by the BIG-GAME studio, which focused on functionality even before aesthetics.

Features

• Material: steel painted with epoxy resin, bamboo wood knob
• Dimensions: diameter 16 cm, height 33 cm
• Available color: warm gray
• Designer: BIG-GAME

Ideal for

A thoughtful gift for anyone who takes care of every corner of the kitchen, including the most utilitarian ones. It works equally well on the countertop and on a set table, where it stylishly replaces paper napkins. It is also the right accessory for completing a kitchen already furnished with attention to detail.
