Alessi — Barkring BM17S2 W | Set of 2 white steel napkin rings

There is a gentle geometry in the circle. Barkring knows this, and demonstrates it with the disarming simplicity of two steel rings coated in white epoxy resin: smooth to the touch, bright in the light, capable of transforming the everyday act of setting the table into a small gesture of formal care. The chosen white is not the neutral white of absence, but the full, tactile white of an object that wants to be seen, asking to become part of the visual composition of the meal. Barkring was created through a collaboration between Simon Boucquillon and Ionna Vautrin Maaoui, a creative duo with a precise sensitivity for household objects that can be discreet without giving up their character. Poised between functional accessory and small table sculpture, the BM17S2 W set embodies the Alessi philosophy that, for decades, has transformed the Crusinallo factory into a laboratory where utility becomes material culture. We chose it for Stilmobili because it represents what we look for in tableware: that rare ability to disappear into the whole while simultaneously defining it. It is ideal for those who arrange the table with the same care devoted to interior design, and for those who love white as an element of visual coherence in contemporary, minimalist, or Nordic tablescapes. A gift of assured taste, even for those who seem to have everything already. Design notes: steel with a white epoxy resin finish. Diameter 4.5 cm, height 3 cm. Set of two pieces. Net weight 100 g. End-of-line piece: limited availability.
