Alessi — Barkring BM17S2 R | Set of 2 red steel napkin rings

There is something irresistibly tactile about the Barkring: a ring that tightens around the fabric of the napkin like a gentle embrace, in its steel bark lacquered in an intense, richly textured red. The epoxy resin finish is not simply color applied to the surface - it is a skin, almost organic, that transforms a functional object into a small chromatic gesture on the set table. Four and a half centimeters in diameter, three in height: proportions designed to hold without squeezing, decorate without overpowering. The design bears the signature of the Boucquillon & Maaoui duo, Franco-Tunisian designers active on the international design scene, with a perspective capable of moving between formal rigor and material sensitivity. The collaboration with Alessi is part of the Crusinallo manufacturer's tradition of entrusting even the most everyday pieces to creative hands capable of turning simplicity into a form of elegance. The name Barkring evokes tree bark - bark, in English - and in the treated surface of the steel, one can sense the desire to evoke something natural through an industrial vocabulary. At Stilmobili, we chose the red Barkring for its ability to brighten a table with discretion. It is the ideal accessory for those who enjoy carefully composing every detail of the table setting, or for those seeking a refined and original gift, far from the usual clichés. The set of two invites symmetry, the ritual of a shared meal, and that care for everyday life that is the hallmark of good Italian taste. Worth noting: this item is part of the Alessi series being phased out - a circumstance that further increases its value for collectors and brand enthusiasts.
