Alessi — Barkcellar BM03 | 18/10 stainless steel bottle holder

There is something sculptural about the way Barkcellar embraces the bottle. Made of polished 18/10 stainless steel, this bottle holder asserts itself on the table as an object of a hybrid nature — halfway between utensil and installation. Its reflective surface multiplies the light, transforming every bottle it holds into a compositional element. Its compact proportions — 19 × 15 × 19 cm — conceal surprising solidity: a weight perceived as a guarantee of quality, never as a burden. Barkcellar was born from the collaboration between Simon Boucquillon and Samy Maaoui, a French-Tunisian creative duo who have been engaging with Alessi for years at the frontier between industrial design and poetic language. Their approach always begins with observing everyday gestures: what does it mean to hold, set down, and serve? In the Alessi collection — the main catalog of the Crusinallo manufacturer — this piece naturally belongs among the accessories dedicated to the ritual of wine, a world in which form and function negotiate without either ever yielding ground to the other. At Stilmobili, we chose Barkcellar for those who see the table as an extension of their personal taste, not merely a surface to place things on. It is the right piece for those who love to entertain thoughtfully, and for those who want every detail — even the gesture of setting down a bottle — to acquire a small, precise dignity. It pairs naturally with contemporary spaces, yet also knows how to find its place in more classic settings, where polished steel brings a welcome touch of visual tension.
